The location proved convenient for exploring. The breakfast was diverse, with both continental and cooked options. My room was spacious and it was very clean upon arrival. I found the staff cute and eager to assist with any requests.
The decor in some areas could benefit from some updating.

I liked that the hotel was near key attractions. The walk into town was short! This made finding breakfast, dinner, and coffee easy. The hotel's swimming facilities were great!!!

Convenient Location and Great Amenities

The hotel is in a fantastic location with easy walking access to town and the castle. Free parking was a real bonus and made exploring the area simple. The gym has good equipment and the pool was superb. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The bathroom needs some maintenance such as discolored grout near the shower screen.

Decent Location, Some Issues
rubber eggs outdated hairdryer
The breakfast was REALLY bad. Scrambled eggs tasted like rubber and the bacon was hard as a brick. The staff gave me £15 back after I complained, but the experience ruined the morning!!! The room was also quite outdated. There was a 70's-style hairdryer in the drawer that smelled like it was about to catch fire.
